Brewery Tenant Awards: Spring Summer 2024
As we celebrate the spirit of community engagement, we are thrilled to unveil the winners of the Brewery Romford Spring Summer Awards 2024. These awards, determined by the voices of 50 local individuals, reflect our dynamic community, honouring those who have gone above and beyond to better our community.
McDonalds – Best Recycling
Taking strides towards sustainability, McDonald’s has won the Best Recycling award. Their strong commitment to environmental awareness shows that even in busy and fast-paced settings, proper recycling is possible. By consistently using the right bins, McDonald’s is helping to ensure a brighter and better future.
Pure Gym – Best ESG
PureGym have gone above and beyond in their efforts to excel in ESG. From adjusting air conditioning set points to reducing shower temperatures, showcase a dedication to reducing their environmental footprint while fostering a healthier, more sustainable community, supporting charities such as The British Heart Foundation, giving out dates during Ramadan and actively getting involved with Mental Health Awareness week, the list goes on. PureGym are the ESG superheroes of the Brewery this summer!
Turtle Bay – Best Customer Service
Turtle Bay has won the Best Customer Service award, thanks to their exceptional commitment to delivering memorable experiences. The entire team ensures that customers feel truly valued and part of the Turtle Bay family. With offerings like bottomless brunch, delicious meals, and delectable desserts, all served with a smile, Turtle Bay sets the gold standard for customer-centric hospitality.
Prickly Pear – Best Independent
Located on Brewery Walk, Prickly Pear Cafe is the place to be. For three years, owner Festim and his team have been serving delicious hot and cold drinks along with tasty lunches, embodying local entrepreneurship and community spirit. Loyal customers often enjoy sitting outside this independent café with a sandwich, their favourite hot drink, and even their fluffy friends are welcome!
Bunkers – Best Family Venue
Bunkers is the ultimate family fun spot, offering everything from golf to VR gaming. Their community spirit shines with weekly Mighty Meeples gatherings, where friends bond overboard games and tasty treats from their playful menu. Loved by families, date-night couples, and even grandparents, Bunkers has something for everyone!

Alan Keith – Best individual service
Alan Keith stands out for his exceptional service, showing professionalism and dedication in every interaction. His commitment to excellence sets an inspiring standard. Alan goes above and beyond to help his team and delight customers, always with a polite demeanour and a smile.
Evaldo Segato – Outstanding service
Evaldo Segato is celebrated for his exceptional leadership and service in cleaning. As the head of a team of 12, he sets the standard by leading by example. His unwavering dedication and tireless efforts make a lasting impact on the Brewery team and the surrounding environment, ensuring a clean and welcoming space for all.
Romford Police Force – Best Community contribution
Last but certainly not least, we extend our deepest gratitude to the Romford Police Force for their invaluable community contribution. Their commitment to safety and service ensures that Brewery Romford remains a vibrant, thriving place for all.
