Festive Fun at the Brewery Romford

The Brewery Romford was the ultimate destination for festive fun this Christmas, bringing the community together with magical events and unforgettable moments!

Saturday 7th December: The celebrations kicked off with a high-energy community event hosted by Matchroom and local champion, Johnny Fisher, a.k.a. “The Romford Bull.” Ahead of his big fight in Saudi Arabia on Saturday 21st December, Johnny showcased his training skills and even got the kids involved in some fun boxing moves! The Brewery was then treated to the dazzling SingTok performers, dressed in purple, dancing through the crowds. This was followed by a heartwarming performance from the Christ Apostolic Church choir, whose 18 voices filled the air with festive cheer.

Adding to the excitement, two giant, stick-walking elves and Disney princesses Elsa and Anna from Frozen made a surprise appearance, marching through the Brewery and pausing to take photos with visitors, thanks to BID Romford.

Sunday 8th December The Brewery was transformed into a mischievous wonderland as the cheeky “Elves Behavin’ Badly,” Elfie and Elvie, brought laughter and silliness to the centre. From high-fives and funny poses to a bit of harmless hair-ruffling, these playful elves kept visitors thoroughly entertained with their antics.

Adding to the festive spirit, The Brewery proudly gathered Christmas gifts through its collaboration with the Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund Christmas Gift Appeal. The community came together to donate an incredible 55 gifts for children undergoing cancer treatment. The generosity didn’t stop there – kind donations from Smyths Toys Romford and The Brewery Romford Flowers team further contributed to this heartwarming cause. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated and helped make the season brighter for these children.

Saturday 14th December Buddy the Elf turned The Brewery into his personal playground, making an ordinary shopping day an unforgettable adventure! He zoomed up escalators, dashed through toy shops, and enthusiastically shouted “SANTAAAA!” to spread pure joy to children and staff alike. The day ended on a magical note with snow from the Romford BID, gently falling over Sainsbury’s and creating enchanting memories for The Brewery community.

This season, the Brewery Romford was the place to be, packed with fun, laughter, and festive cheer for everyone to enjoy!
