The Range & Iceland Store Team Shout Out
We had a chat with store manager, Terry Milne at The Range to find out how they are coping in this unusual time, and what they are allowed to offer Brewery shoppers as essentials:
Which products are you able to offer our Brewery shoppers?
The Range is currently open to offer shoppers access to essential items. These include food items, our veterinary products and cleaning items. As we do have other products available, these can be purchased, but only alongside other essential items in the basket.
What are your current opening hours?
We are open Monday – Saturday: 09:00am – 06:00pm and Sunday: 11:00am – 05:00pm
Are there any special offers running at the moment?
Yes, all NHS staff will receive 10% off all their shopping, including items from both The Range and our new Iceland offering inside our store. Please note that NHS Staff will need to present their NHS card as proof to gain this offer. Unfortunately, Iceland Bonus Cards are not currently accepted at this store.
What kinds of measures have you put on place to support the COVID19 situation?
We have introduced social distancing in our store and are reminding everyone with a prominent 2 metre distancing sign outside our doors. We also have markings on the floor to guide shoppers on how to stick to the 2 metres when browsing the store.
Would you like us to share any messages from you and the team to our Brewery shoppers?
My team and I have had so much to contend with, not only the Pandemic that we are all faced with, but also the extensive work to install an Iceland mini store within our store. These projects don’t happen overnight and take hard work and tenacity to achieve, which is what my team have done!
Through the last two weeks they have continued to come to work if possible, with a smile on their faces, to serve our local community with their essential products, with government restrictions being followed and once again have risen to the challenge, and done The Range very proud.
